The journey of the artist Pelin Erem and Marduk brand has started when she wanted to buy a gift for her husband who loves to wear cufflinks. She wasn't able to find unique cufflinks that would appeal to her husband's taste so she decided to make them on her own. As her designs were appreciated by many people, she decided to introduce them to public with "Marduk" brand. Marduk offers one of the most meaningful and lasting gifts that can be given to a man.
Pelin Erem was inspired by the rich Ancient Mesopotamian mythology. Marduk (Amar-Utu) is the guardian Chief God of the Babylonian creation epic Enūma Eliš. Each of the collections were inspired by the different Gods and Goddesses. Marduk cufflinks were created with a desire to embody the power, mystery and magic of the Ancient Mesopotamian cultures.
